Nearby nesting Golden Plover, Lapwing, Curlew and Snipe flourish amongst the heather and mosses of the beautiful North York Moors National Park
On Flamborough Headland the Puffins, Razorbills, Guillemots, Kittiwakes, Shags and Gannets have arrived back to nest in their thousands providing fantastic photographic opportunities.
Nearby at Top Hill Low nature reserve spring is a great time to watch fantastic birds such as Barn Owls amongst the many newly arrived wetland warblers such as Reed Warbler, Sedge Warbler, Grasshopper Warbler and Cettis Warbler.
