We're very excited to offer this new, unique and exclusive adventure to our 2023 schedule – a fully-inclusive, bird and wildlife-filled nine days in the beautiful valleys of Northern Israel!

The landscapes, culture, history, weather and famous hospitality of Northern Israel all form the backdrop to a mouth-watering, easily-accessed smörgåsbord of birds and wildlife that we believe make for the perfect getaway as our winter takes hold....

Capitalising on the fresh arrival of the vast numbers of wintering birds, we've timed this trip to experience the very best of this magical area. We've secured the exclusive services of the very best guides from Birdlife Israel, and exclusive access to some of the most awe-inspiring sites; we've chosen the perfect accommodation and locations (where the birding is incredible literally on your doorstep), where we will be contributing to the conservation of local birds and their habitats; and your YCN guide is a passionate and experienced veteran of this magical part of the world and its amazing wildlife.

The birding highlights are too many to list (download the pdf for a proper taste!), but expect a huge variety of birds of prey (including rare eagles and vultures, harriers, falcons and kites), waterbirds such as storks, pelicans, waders and more at incredibly close range; rare and localised songbirds such as warblers, larks, pipits and wheatears in beautiful wadis; tens of thousands of Cranes lifting off at sunrise in the Hula, and much, much more.....

As well as the birds and other wildlife, we will be experiencing the best of local culture and quisine, and dropping in on some unmissable historical sites en route; and as an all-inclusive trip, we look forward to taking care of your needs for the whole trip – all you have to do relax and make sure you have enough storage space for your photos and videos (you'll need plenty!).
