2021 Kenya Wildlife Photography Safari

Masai Mara National Reserve is considered a "must see" for any visitor traveling on a safari to Kenya. The park is graced by a wide variety of unique and exquisite African wildlife. It is known to be the best place to see the "Big Five" which include the elephant, lion, leopard, black rhino and buffalo. The famous wildebeest migration also takes place in the Mara. This truely unbelivable wildlife spectacle just has to be witnessed and photographed. The Masai Mara National Reserve (also known as Masai Mara or the Mara) is situated within the Great Rift Valley in the southern part of Kenya. Measuring approximately 1510sq. kilometers (approx. 938sq. miles) this savannah grassland is situated 150 miles southeast of the capital Nairobi. 

Our exclusive 10-day Kenya Wildlife Photography Tour will be led by award winning professional wildlife photographer Steve Race and is a wonderful opportunity to join a small group of like-minded people with the aim of creating an unforgettable experience.

We will be staying at the idyllic Olapa Camp. This small private camp situated in the Masai Mara holds just 7 tented rooms. There are six tents and 1 family tent. Wifi is available and charging points in each room. The whole camp will be exclusivley for our group only in which we will have flexibility with the menu and eating times. One cant get better than that! 

Our small group will include only 12 photographers attending 14 game drives using three jeeps. This will give maximum room for prime photographic locations and positions within the vehicle and to accommodate for baggage and camera equipment. Steve will spend an equal amount of time in each of the three vehicles, ensuring that every guest benefits from his extensive wildlife photography knowledge. He’ll be on hand to ensure that you’re getting the very best from your photographic experience. He’ll also be on hand in the evenings to answer any technical or compositional questions that you may have relating to your days adventures.
