About Breaday Gill - Stylish Stays

Relax and unwind in this fabulous single-storey luxury cottage situated within a traditional courtyard of sandstone barns. The accommodation offers spacious, open plan living with contemporary attention to detail and luxury living. Breaday Gill is a sympathetic conversion of an 18th century stone farm building using traditional lime mortar and sheep's wool insulation.

Underfloor heating throughout is fuelled by a biomass log boiler and brings the barn right up to date for comfortable, modern living.

Breaday Gill is situated in the hamlet of Silpho, which is remarkable for its enormous sky and stunning panoramic views across the North York Moors. Yorkshire's Heritage Coast is just a stone's throw away (10 minutes by car to Scarborough) and walkers have direct access to some of the most spectacular walking country that Britain has to offer, right from the cottage door. Carefully selected antique and mid-century furniture sit happily with the more contemporary design elements. Works from talented local artists will whet your appetite for the stunning landscapes you can so easily explore.

Accommodation Features

Living
Open plan living with exposed timbers and original A frame beams provides a light and airy space for relaxing in truly stylish interiors. French doors open from the living area into Breaday Gill's enclosed south facing garden which provides an extension of the living space. A log burning stove is the focal point in the delightfully furnished living area.

Eating
As with all Stylish Stays cottages a complimentary welcome hamper awaits your arrival and means you can start to relax the moment you arrive. Locally sourced produce is available to pre-order including Yorkshire deli boards and a selection of artisan baked goodies.

Take full advantage of the well appointed bespoke oak kitchen and release the domestic goddess (or god) within! With the open plan kitchen/living area, cooking can be enjoyed without missing out on the fun of being with friends and family.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The two spacious bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom, with large bath and shower in each. Luxury, locally sourced natural bath and skincare products await you and it goes without saying that huge fluffy towels come as standard.

Ample private parking is available within the courtyard.

The flora and fauna of this family run farm and the surrounding countryside offers much for the wildlife enthusiast.
