Join award winning wildlife photographer Steve Race on a 3 hour Birds of Prey Photography Workshop or a Photography Day at the National Centre for Birds of Prey in Helmsley, North Yorkshire.
We have exclusive access to a wide range of iconic native and worldwide raptors in the idyllic setting of Duncombe Park Estate, Helmsley situated in the North York Moors National Park.
The workshop or full day will be tailored towards beginners and enthusiasts. We will look at the techniques and equipment needed to photograph birds of prey and advice and tips will be given on how to get that perfect wildlife image. You will learn about correct exposure, how to deal with tricky lighting conditions such as harsh sunlight or low light levels, and depth of field techniques to compensate for the expanse of open parkland and woodland.
