Join us on a photography trip of a lifetime as we spend the day "Above and Below" the internationally important seabird colonies of Flamborough Headland and Bempton Cliffs. This trip is designed to get close views of the cliffs and sea caves and to get up close and personal with the sights, sounds and smells of over 400,000 seabirds on the sea, flying overhead and on the 400ft white chalk cliffs at Bempton.

Key Species: Puffin, Gannet, Kittiwake, Fulmar, Guillemot, Razorbill, Herring Gull and Shag.

The Above and Below Photography Workshop will consist of a four-hour boat trip sailing from Bridlington Harbour with Steve Race, Yorkshire Coast Nature award-winning wildlife photographer who has years of experience of the seabird colonies and its birds. You will be able to take images of diving gannets plunging in to the sea at up to speeds of 60mph, and birds on the sea such as puffins, razorbills, guillemots, fulmars and kittiwakes. The afternoon will consist of a three-hour photography session at Bempton Cliffs. Both sessions will be tailored towards photographers who are keen to learn about and practice some of the essential skills of wildlife photography. We will be looking at how to capture that perfect image and covering technique, exposure and basic camera settings.
