Welcome to Carlton Lodge bed and breakfast, an official Nature Friendly Accommodation, situated in Helmsley in the spectacular North York Moors National Park. Home to Harry, and Lisa, who have a genuine love for the great outdoors, the friendly Yorkshire bed and breakfast accommodation, has eight lovely rooms and is known for its delicious breakfasts. The beautiful building is only a short stroll from Helmsley’s picturesque ancient square, castle ruins, colourful walled garden, and the magnificent green space of Duncombe Park.

 
As a Nature Friendly Accommodation, so we offer the perfect stay for anyone looking to discover, or photograph, the incredible wildlife of the moors and coast. Alongside a colourful garden the bed and breakfast has a cosy lounge complete, with books on the local area and wildlife plus maps of local walks.  Carlton Lodge is the perfect base for lovers of the outdoors as it also houses a drying room (in case you get caught in a Yorkshire shower), an outside Belfast sink complete with hot and cold water, boot racks, flasks for hot drinks, camping chairs, binoculars and torches.
