Twilight Nature Sounds Safari
Being out at twilight is a magical time of the day. Fading daylight gives way to night. Twinkling stars slowly start to appear. Nocturnal creatures venture out while diurnal species head back home.

It almost feels like a life pause. But in that pause is a sense of possibility, peace – and wildlife activity. This is what makes this nature safari so special. You don’t know quite what animals you’ll happen across. It’ll be an enthralling mix of sensory exploration, discovery and adventure. We’ll teach you how to ‘fine tune’ your senses, so you’ll be able to hear, see and feel more around you. Not only will you be immersed in the natural world, your ‘feel-good’ factor will be ramped up too.
The safari setting is simply stunning. Located in the historic and quiet hamlet of Ellerburn, you’ll be close to expansive forest, meadow and a babbling brook. It’s in the North York Moors National Park too - one of the quieter national parks rich in flora and fauna.
Each event is run by Richard Baines YCN and Alison Goodwin from Adventures for the Soul. Our hosts, Lesley and Andrew from Gumboots & Wellingtons will welcome you. They’ll also have a warming treat for you once we’ve completed the safari. Oh and if you need somewhere to stay, they have beautiful, rustic accommodation. To see their accomodation Click Here

Richard’s love of birds and wildlife started at age nine when he watched wide eyed as a charm of European Goldfinch fed on a thistle within a few feet of him in the grounds of his primary school. The next day he was busy drawing the flock in his art class./tutors/2/richard-baines-pgdip-mcieem
