This photography experience is a fantastic opportunity for an exclusive private viewing of ‘The Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition’, based at Sewerby Hall and Gardens
Georgian country house Sewerby Hall, set on a dramatic clifftop position with spectacular views over Bridlington, is to host the world-renowned exhibition, on loan from the Natural History Museum in London.
Regarded as the most prestigious wildlife photography event of its kind, the exhibition’s international tour will come to the East Yorkshire coast from 4 May to 14 July 2024. More info here...
After the private viewing of the exhibition this will be followed by a talk/presentation on Steve’s work with lunch and then a 3 hour photography workshop at RSPB Bempton Cliffs.
Steve was "Commended" in the "Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards" and "Highly Commended" in the "British Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards". His work has been published nationally and regionally and he has featured on BBC Countryfile, Channel 4's Sunday Brunch, Sky Arts and regional television programmes.
Itinerary
9.30am – Welcome and Coffee at Sewerby Hall & Gardens.
10.00am - Exclusive viewing of the ‘Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition’ with expert knowledge from Steve Race.
11.00am - Talk/presentation with a chance to view some of Steve's work.
12.00pm - Light lunch, tea and coffee.
12.30pm - Make your way up to RSPB Bempton Cliffs home to one of the UKs top wildlife spectacles.
1.00pm - A truly captivating afternoon to attend a 3 hour workshop and a chance for some hands-on tuition/guidance with Steve and around half a million seabirds gathered there to raise a family on the towering white chalk cliffs overlooking the North Sea.
4.00pm - Finish
