Species In The Spotlight: Common Shrew

Life in the fast lane means shrews, with bodies that require 90% of their own weight to be consumed every 24 hours and meals no more than two or three hours apart, seldom live beyond 15 months. No wonder they are either seen fleetingly or dead!

This year we have charted our own boat, the Yorkshire Lass II, skippered by Paul Chapman, to run Seabird Photography Boat Trips to capture the amazing seabird colonies of Flamborough Head and Bempton Cliffs from sea level.
